Meet Dr. John C. Burtenshaw
Pediatric Specialist
Dr. Burtenshaw is an Idaho native; he grew up in the Idaho Falls area where he graduated from Bonneville High School. He received an Associate Degree at Brigham Young University, and then received his Bachelor’s degree from Idaho State University in Pocatello, ID. He went on to receive his Doctorate in Dental Medicine in 2003, from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. And continued on to Nova Southeastern University where he received his specialty training in Pediatric dentistry, and completed his residency at both the Miami Children’s Hospital and Joe DiMaggio’s Children’s Hospital.
Dr. Burtenshaw is just a big kid himself so when he’s not having fun with the children he treats locally, or traveling throughout the United States teaching and assisting other specialists in the Pediatric Industry. He loves to be with his wife Natalie and their four children taking family vacations, coaching little league baseball, spear fishing, golfing, traveling, and is still a strong Bonneville High School supportive for his graduating High School.
Dr. Burtenshaw is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentists, the American Dental Association, and the Idaho State Board of Dentistry and is Board Eligible by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
